Michele Zampa

Welcome to my website! My name is Michele, and I am a PhD student at IHEID in Geneva. I’m an applied economist with a background in causal inference, machine learning, geospatial analysis, and computational methods. I develop automated data pipelines to turn historical records into scalable datasets, which I then analyze using advanced econometric techniques. My research explores how public spending and infrastructure investments shape firm growth, regional development, and long-run labor market dynamics.
